Callouts, speech bubbles, and pins
Express has no way to label things. To point at a screenshot, annotate a mockup, or number the steps in an explainer, you end up hand-assembling arrows, boxes, and text every time. Label Lab makes the callout a proper object: choose a container, a pointer, and a style, and it lands on the page as real, editable vectors and live text. Change your mind and re-edit it from the panel.

Key features
Callouts.
Leader lines, boxed labels, numbered or icon nodes, and margin bars — each in a horizontal and a vertical version. Flat, elbowed, or angled lines with rounded, beveled, or sharp corners. Markers at the start; the label at the end.
Speech bubbles.
Oval, rounded, box, shout, polygon (three to six sides), and thought clouds. Drag the tail's tip and the box stays put. Slide the root along the edge, set the flick, choose how the tail joins the body — seamless, split, or the comic "gap" with a trim you control.
Pins and flags.
Map pins (with or without a hole), markers in five frame shapes, and flags on a leaning stem. A number, an icon, or nothing.
Icons.
Twelve built in, hundreds more in the Mutt Mash library — arrows, business, tech, social, weather, and a dozen other sets — or drop in your own SVG.
Editable output.
Everything is placed as native vector shapes and live Express text, grouped. Recolor it, resize it, retype it. Select it later and Label Lab reopens it for editing.
Animation.
Turn any callout into motion: the line draws on, the bubble pops, the pin drops, the text arrives by word or by character. Preview it in the panel, then add it to the page as a transparent GIF or an MP4.
